REACH Regulation

The EU REACH Regulation, which is the EU Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. It is a regulation on the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemicals, which came into effect on June 1, 2007. The EU REACH regulations divide products into three categories: substance, mixture and items, affecting almost all products placed on the EU market.

1.If a product enter to the EU market contains any of the SVHC candidate substances with a concentration more than 0.1%, the EU manufacturer or importer shall fulfill the obligations of notification as stipulated in the REACH Regulation.

2.When receiving consumer consultation, it is necessary to provide relevant information to consumers within 45 days.

3.When the content is more than 0.1% and the total amount of the substance entering the EU is more than one ton a year, the EU manufacturer or importer must notify the ECHA, and the product can be sold in the EU market.

4.If substance or mixture products (such as paints, inks, etc.) containing SVHC candidate substances, the manufacturer shall provide safety specification (SDS) fro the downstream users.
